Synod, Hotsprings, and Whales

Hello! Before I start my blog tonight - I'd like to share a gift I was given - Jesus tape! For your every need! Check it out!!!!!
Ok - enough bragging!

I've gotten a little bit behind in my blogging. Please forgive me. hehe.

A few weeks ago I travelled to Cranbrook, BC for a Synod meeting. On the last day we had a procession from the church to the place we were worshipping. I was able to get things started.

After the Synod meeting we stopped by Ft. Steele - an old outpost in the Rockies. Here I am in front of the Wild Horse Saloon...

Then I had to save Liz from jail.

We were tired after all of our adventures in Cranbrook and Ft. Steele, so we stopped by Fairmont Hotsprings. It was beautiful - and relaxing! Here I am enjoying a little bath time in the Springs...

On our way home, we visited my friend, Mr. Huckleberry...

Two weeks ago we went to Nanaimo to meet with the youth of BC. We had to cross the ferry and on my way I met the Art Whale. He was very friendly.

I also joined the youth for a Scavenger Hunt around Nanaimo - here we are at the West Direction marker at the Port.
Things have been pretty busy around here. I've been
taking the last bit of time to rest and be quiet. I'll be headed to Seattle next
week. Maybe I'll see you there!

Brockey and kidnapping

I've had quite a few adventures since I got up to Canada. Here are some pictures...

This is Alex, one of the staff here at Sorrento Centre. She has become a great friend. She was around when we began playing a very popular game for our little group - BROCKEY! (or broom hockey)

Here I am playing the game:

The morning after the game my friend, Liz awoke to find a horrible site. On a chair outside her room was my broom and ball and a note saying that I had been kidnapped by Pontius Pilate in the night. She had to follow clues to find my and she did find me - up a tree in a net. I was too upset at the time to take pictures, but luckily everything turned out ok.

I've also spent some time doing miracles - turning water...

into Diet Coke!
