We started off on September 17th to beautiful Sorrento, BC. I'm accompanying my friend, Liz as she goes on mission. It was a good trip with just a couple of snags. Before we could leave I helped Liz pack.
We had a slight hang-up at Immigration. But, once again, with my help, we were able to cross-over into Canada. The officer that let us over wouldn't let us take a picture of her. We assume it has nothing to do with needing to hide her identity and the fact that it was her that let us in.
I was warned to be on the lookout of bears, but the amazing thing was that we met up with a bear before we even left home! I reasoned with him and we were able to get some great shots!!
After that close encounter, we began the trip. Our drivers were Jesse and Addison and although they stuck Liz in the back seat I had a prime view from the dashboard - maybe time for a little dashboard confessional?
